Advanced Performance Shooting
We have wanted to run a program like this for a long time, but work schedules and other commitments simply made it not possible. $20 bucks! Only 100 rds (not provided) and no more than 2 hours on the range (Typically from 1800-2000). Normally the focus is on the pistol, but we also do some rifle and shotgun work. It’s easy to find out what each weekly event will be by checking our Facebook Training Group page. You can spend a great deal of money and time training improperly or without focus! The “Training Group” helps provide focus with 1
Many would consider this a very basic course, we consider this one of our most advanced training modules. We are talking about carrying a firearm to protect your life of the life of another from death or serious bodily harm. Often times we find CCP Instructors who deviate from the standard, who show pointless video’s or conduct “who’s the man” demonstrations leaving students standing around waiting for a turn to shoot. Like carrying a firearm, our course is a life altering event (if you choose it to be so) and we cover many more topics than the minimal standard requires.
This course is designed to enhance IPSC/USPSA stage and match understanding in an effort to produce a more rounded competition match shooter. We will focus on stage description and breaking down the courses of fire based on shooting division with specific attention to detail to stage-specific requirements. The student can expect to learn how to build a correct plan and then learn techniques to actually stick to that plan after the buzzer. This course will normally run immediately following a USPSA local match. 250 rounds (min) not provided. Course fee $50.00. (Afternoon only, following local match)
This course is well suited to the new and advanced level shooter and is built around our variation to the 10-8 Pistol drill. The student is expected to understand firearm manipulation and the course emphasis is then placed on the correct application of the fundamentals under the stressors of time constraints as well as range variables. The student will repeat a series of drills several times throughout the class providing a learning environment based on repetition with the goal being an unconscious competence with a particular firearm. 1250 rounds (min) not provided. Course fee $220.00 (2 days). 750 rounds (min) not provided.
This course represents the next evolution to the High Output Pistol course and follows the same principles of competence through repetition. High Output Pistol is not a pre-requisite but the student is expected to understand firearms manipulation. Primarily based on a flat range training concept students will be able to judge their own improvement pinned to a series of drills and timed requirements. 1250 (min) not provided. Course fee $220.00 (2 days). 800 rounds (min) not provided. Course fee $150.00 (1 day)
