The APS Training Group concept was one of the first of it’s kind in the nation. Small groups, meeting to train on a frequent basis. Always with a specific plan and always with the goal of achieving the highest standard possible. Helping each other grow through repetition and understanding of a specific set of core skills.
Course Title: 1of100 Proficiency
Our 1of100 Concealed Carry Standards is unique in the industry. We firmly believe that it is our responsibility to set the highest standard possible for ourselves when it comes to protecting ourselves and our families as well as others we might be responsible for. All of our firearms programs are standards based and focus on mastering a basic set of skills with a handgun.
In our “Proficiency” program we start to anchor a set of basic skills through correct repetition at speed. We continue to work toward the 1of100 Standard and we are starting to look at micro adjustments to required movements and fine tuning accuracy ability. The drills get harder as the skills are developed.
Terminal Learning Objective:
Students understand the importance of repetition and are able to hold themselves to a defined level of speed and accuracy.
